Let us share with you a little of our history ... Doxia Web Design began in 1997 as an idea and slowly developed into a strong desire in founder and president, Steve Etner. As various opportunities for Steve to create or re-design Web sites continued to come in, it was decided to create a company focused on one simple philosophy - "Professional Quality with a Personal Touch". The challenge was in deciding what to name the newly formed business. There were, of course many different possibilities, but in the end, there was only one obvious choice ... "Doxia Web Design". The word "Doxia" is a Biblical New Testament Greek word that means giving God the glory, praise, honor and worship in everything that you do. It appears twice in our theme verse, I Peter 4:11 which says: " If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised (Doxia) through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory (Doxia) and the power for ever and ever. " This is the foundation and sole purpose of Doxia Web Design - to bring honor to God in every site we design. How do we do that? By making sure that each and every site we design is done to the best of our abilities and truly represents our clients in a positive and powerful way. We will, in everything we do, endeavor to do all to God's glory. This simply means that as we work for you in the design of your web site, you can count on the fact that we will do our best to help you have an effective presence on the Web. Doxia Web Design is God's business, and we are His humble servants. |
